Award Winning Spinner
I'm a fiber artist, production yarn spinner, and knitting & crochet designer base in the Seattle, Washington area.
My patterns have been featured in the Puget Sound LYS Tour and PNW Slow Yarn Crawl.
Crochet Designer
I’ve been crocheting since 2002, starting with a dishcloth and teaching myself from a booklet. I was drawn to making Amigurumi dolls, even learning from Japanese pattern books early on. Since 2008, I’ve been designing my own Amigurumi—simple, well-shaped, and with minimal sewing. My wearable crochet patterns are customizable, with clean designs and a fun twist to keep things interesting.
Knitting Designer
I learned to knit shortly after picking up crochet in 2002. While crochet is about simplicity for me, knitting is where I dive into complex techniques—lace, brioche, cables, and fair isle. In Owl Spun designs, I focus on easy-to-modify shaping paired with engaging stitch work. After years of procrastinating, I finally published my first knitting pattern in 2023.
Spinner
I’m a production spinner and instructor, spinning on a wheel since 2019.
Awards include:
Spin Together Production Champion (2020, 2021, 2022, 2024)
2024 Reserve Champion, Black Sheep Gathering
2024 Creative & Best in Class, Fiber Fusion
Dyer
I love spinning cotton, but I struggled to find dyed cotton braids — so I started dyeing my own. My dyeing style is intuitive and a little chaotic. Many of my colorways are inspired by Chinese-dramas and my love for tea.
