Where vintage meets the sewing room: style pieces, fabric yardage, and notions.
Hi, I’m Jacqueline, the person behind **Awl ReMade**.
I’m a NYC fashion designer, pattern professional, lifelong sewer, and very enthusiastic hunter of beautiful old things. I started this shop because I love pieces with personality: vintage clothing with a great shape, fabric that feels special, trims that spark ideas, and sewing finds that make you want to start a project immediately.
After 17 years in apparel, I can’t help noticing the details: fabric, fit, drape, construction, stitching, buttons, linings, labels, and all the little things that make something worth keeping. My goal is to bring you finds that feel thoughtful, useful, and a little bit magical.
You’ll find a mix of vintage clothing, home decor, fabric yardage, trims, notions, sewing supplies, and the occasional designer find. I try to prioritize natural fabrics like cotton, linen, wool, and silk whenever I can.
I describe everything as clearly and honestly as possible, with condition notes and measurements when needed. Questions are always welcome, especially if you want help with fit, fabric, era, styling, or how a textile might work for a project.
The long-term dream is to create one-of-a-kind reworked pieces and original designs inspired by vintage patterns, thrifted garments, and archival fashion. Think men’s shirts recut into modern tops, old garments turned into new silhouettes, and forgotten pieces brought back to life.
Thanks for being here and supporting resale, craft, and thoughtful fashion.
