Across Oceans, Made by Hand
AxelWorksStudio began with two friends who loved the quiet happiness of making things by hand.
Tao lives in Hong Kong, a city of crowded streets, tiny studios and glowing windows at night. He is the one behind the camera and the screen—styling every scene, taking photos, answering messages and sharing the stories behind each piece with care.
Harper lives in Asheville, a small mountain city in the United States. Her days are filled with yarn, clay, tools and sunlight on the worktable. She works slowly and intentionally, one stitch, one carving, one detail at a time, so every item feels calm, warm and personal.
Together, we wanted to create a small space where handmade objects could carry comfort across distance. Every item in our shop is crafted in small batches, often made to order, with tiny variations that show the human hands behind the work.
Our hope is simple: when you open a package from AxelWorksStudio, you feel the same warmth we felt while making it—like a small light you can keep in your everyday life. Thank you for letting our work travel from our homes to yours.
