Our Story

Azahi is a timeless model of inspiration, innovation and creativity. The company was founded in Los Angeles City by Francisco Cordoba, a visionary, and built on a passion for art and fashion. When he began his intention was not to start a business but to make beautifully designed bracelets to wear.
In the year of 2015, Francisco had the curiosity to learn how to elaborate macramé bracelets from his mother, Cristina Eddi. While visiting LA Fashion District, Francisco met an Ecuadorian artisan named Pablo who encouraged him to learn how to braid leather for bracelets and to pursue his dream of becoming a jewelry designer
He named the company 'Azahi' in tribute to his mother's favorite natural seed bead, acai. Officially launching Azahi Handmade Jewelry in 2017, Francisco stablished his online business at Etsy. He believes in transforming the expected into something new and unique, bringing originality and extraordinary details to artisan products.
