How and Why AzaleaRose
I wanted a custom saint shirt for my daughter's first communion celebration, so I had my aunt make one...then my son wanted one...then everyone wanted one! So now here we are in business!
I never thought I'd be a small business owner, but after some prayers and discussion, it seems like that's what God has in store for me.
St. Zelie is an amazing patroness, and a woman with a great legacy as a business owner. Her name was Marie Azelea, shortened to Zelie. Azaleas are beautiful flowers, but not roses. St. Zelie's daughter Therese is a major saint as well, and she is quoted as saying, "If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose it's loveliness."
St. Therese also said she would send a shower of roses down from heaven...and people often ask for her to intercede to God on their behalf and most often they find roses in the most unexpected places and some kind of answer to their prayer!
I named my shop after St. Zelie and St. Therese because they are two powerful prayer warriors and two amazing yet different women.
Azalea or Rose or wildflower...you are beloved!!
