A Real Passion for Recycling & Repurposing & Reselling
I was raised by children of the Great Depression who never threw anything away & mainly bought antiques & 2nd hand stuff, a dna I inherited. But I have also found that vintage American made goods are often the best value for your money because they were so well made with quality materials. You can really see the pride of the American worker in these older pieces. So I'm very happy to offer them for sale to you.
I grew up in New England where the winters were frigid & snowy. Everything was old, old, old, which made treasure hunts even more fun. As a kid my Dad taught me how to strip the old paint & finish off wood furniture & restore it with a new look. When I visit family in CT we always spend Sunday morning at the Elephant Trunk Flea Market.
My spirit is restless & I've lived in LA, KS and now Smyrna GA where I think I've finally landed. In addition to hunting for treasure to sell in Azaleatrail, I love creating ooak fiber art pieces with my sewing machines, boxes of vintage trims & buttons, & shelves of fabrics.
