Aztex Silver of The American Southwest
Aztex Silver was started by me, Warren Allen, in 1992 in Oceanside California. Self taught I quickly learned the ropes and started selling at local craft fairs and gem shows. My work came to the attention of world famous artist Lynne Merchant and began a creative relationship that continues to this day! Lynne guided me and refined my craft and taught me a style and approach.
Since 2019 my work has been on the road in my 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud Trailer!
All Aztex Silver’s work is fabricated on premises with traditional silver smithing tools and techniques. All work starts with raw sterling silver stock and is cut, formed, soldered and polished by hand one at a time. No pieces are identical.
