One single werther.
Currently, I have about 700 needle minders in this studio. Not all of them are part of Etsy listings, many of them are from charity events I made custom minders for but all of them stemmed from one needle minder, the werther. I don't remember when someone told me about using needle minders but, as often happens, when I heard about this neat crafting thing, instead of buying one I thought 'I can make that'. And what I really wanted was a werther. I though it was so hilarious that it would LOOK like I had a sticky candy on my embroidery but it would be the needle minder. =D Then, I kept having more and more needle minder shaped ideas. And, well, currently I have about 700 needle minders in this studio. =D
THEN, I got obsessed with 3D printing.
First my brother got a 3d printer. Then, everything he say he would say, "I bet you could 3d print that." Yes, yes. Sure. Until, he said "I bet you could 3d print an embroidery hoop." Oh. Yeah, actually lets do that! But then, I couldn't find ANY 3d models to print! So, time to learn Blender.
Now, I have my OWN 3d printer and so many hoop ideas that I may never actually get to them all. My favourite has been putting doors on the hoops. Oh? You wanted to see the embroidery? No! You gotta open it first! Love it.
