Item itself was wonderful. I'm not happy with the shipping. It took 20 days to get shipped out. I had to email the seller twice before it finally got shipped. I ordered this on Dec 17 and it finally arrived on Jan 11.
The "B" in BC MetalCraft stands for Barry, our chief designer and the heart of the business. Barry has worked with metal for 30 years. He designs, welds, bends, grinds, buffs, and finishes most of our pieces. All of our products are cut by a plasma CNC machine, but we use many tools of the trade to create quality products. -All items are inspected before shipping to ensure they are in the best quality condition.
-We ship stock items as soon as we have confirmation of payment from Paypal.
-Shipping time on custom orders vary depending on the scope of the project.
-Estimated shipping times on custom orders will be given through email exchange before order confirmation so that our customers know what to expect.
-We combine for shipping whenever possible for physical addresses. We ask that you request that the shipping of your items be combined if they have not been placed in one order.
-We reserve the right to ship via different shipping carriers. We typically choose the most reliable and/or cost efficient carrier.
-We insure all our packages.
-If an insured item (or items) is damaged by USPS or another shipping company, it will be the buyer's responsibility to claim damages to the shipping company and obtain a refund directly from the shipping company.
-We only ship within the contiguous USA.
-Shipping costs to PO boxes, APO or Military addresses within the contiguous USA will differ from what is stated in the listings.
-If you need to return an item due to a manufacturing defect, the real shipping costs will be deducted from your payment and you will receive a refund for the item price or an exchange.
-It is the buyer's responsibility to pack return items properly and to acquire insurance on the package(s). If returns are received broken and uninsured, we will not issue any refund.
-When specially offered, free shipping is only for buyers within the contiguous USA.
AVOID RETURN PACKAGES
If a package is returned due to refusal, the customer being unavailable after the 3rd attempt at delivery, or the customer providing the wrong address; the customer will be responsible for additional shipping fees to receive their package.
*We do not refund items that are refused!

Refunds and Exchanges
If for any reason you are not pleased with your stock order, the item may be returned within 10 days for a full refund of the item price.
*The customer assumes all costs in shipping returns to us, and we assume the costs in shipping replacements to the customer.
Custom orders can only be returned for obvious manufacturing defects. You may return your package to the address on the packing slip within 10 days of receipt for a full refund.

The price of a piece is determined by its size, the thickness of the metal, and the amount of detail in the design. Browsing the products in our online store may give you an idea of the price point you may expect.
HOW ARE CUSTOM ORDERS PLACED?
When a customer has an idea, a picture or a drawing of their project, they may contact our staff by email to request the project. For intricate projects, we may prefer to discuss the project over the telephone. Once our staff understands the scope of the project, we can offer an estimate for the project. If the price is acceptable, we will draft a PDF or JPG file of the potential piece for the customer. Customers have the opportunity to change anything they like: size, characters, fonts, etc. Our staff will continue to redesign the layout, within reason, until our customers are fully satisfied. We can send photos of the piece while it is in process. The price on the metal work is to be paid by paypal before shipping. Due to the nature of custom artwork, we do not accept returns on goods that have been produced according to the customer's specifications.
HOW IS METAL ART MADE?
Our in-house artists work with computer graphics software to edit, adjust, and prepare a quality image. The images are cut into steel by a computer controlled plasma cutter. Once cut, the metal art piece undergoes several finishing processes by hand. Your project is personally made by us and in the USA.
