3D (FDM) Printing Hobbyist sharing creations with others
I've always been a tinkerer... At a young age I was obsessed with Legos, which gave me the freedom to turn ideas into tangible assemblies. As I got older, I explored building with other materials (wood, metal, plastics) - and learned valuable skills including CNC machining, programming, and various 2D/3D CAD software programs. This all converged on a career in Mechanical Engineering, allowing me to further expand my understanding of materials, structural design, and modeling.
My partner and I stay active in the summer with outdoor activities, and share a love for Geocaching in our free time. While exploring hobbies for the winter, I came across 3D printing - and immediately began researching printers, resources, tools, and tricks. She supported my interest by giving me my first 3D printer for Christmas...
After a couple weeks of learning Autodesk Fusion 360 and tuning my skills on the printer - I started designing/printing unique ideas for Geocaching containers and useful tools for around the house.
This shop is an opportunity to share some of these ideas with anyone interested, and continue to develop new ideas/designs from buyer feedback. Never stop learning...
