Hello from Brittany and Erica (the B and E of BEFoundCollective)!

We are long-time friends separated by a few thousand miles but joined by our love of design. Our styles are distinctive, with Brittany more traditional and Erica more eclectic, but both of us have an intense appreciation for history and quality. It’s the workmanship and patina of a well-loved antique (and of course the thrill-of-the-hunt), that light the fire of our collector-hearts.

As our personal collections grew, we decided to post a few of our finds on Etsy. We loved seeing the pieces come to life in another person's home - and soon we were on the hunt for ourselves and our clients. To create visual inspiration, we layered on an Instagram account to feature the pieces styled in our own homes and homes of our clients. Our goal is to curate a beautiful collection of goods (both local and from around the world) just for you. Our inventory is located in Lynchburg, VA and San Antonio, TX.

As a fellow vintage buyer, you understand that minor imperfections and signs of wear are expected and lend to the uniqueness of each piece. Like us, you probably appreciate the history of these old treasures and are intrigued by the stories they tell. And yet, we also understand the challenges of online buying. We want you to love your experience with us and therefore, we do our very best to describe all items accurately and include untouched photos, taken in natural light. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES, so if you have any questions in advance of purchase, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We commit to responding promptly and are also happy to send additional photos to help guide the decision-making process.

We also take requests, so if there’s something specific you need and you’re not finding the perfect match, please let us know and we’ll keep an eye out for you.

Items are shipped within 1-3 business days from the time the order is placed (please be aware of holidays and weekends, as they are not included in the processing time). We send all packages Ground, which typically deliver in 5-7 business days. We're happy to try and accommodate a quicker time frame - but please reach out ahead of time.

What if I need upgraded shipping?

We use standard ground shipping through UPS on all orders - but if you reach out prior to placing your order, we would be happy to get a quote for upgraded shipping. The additional charges will be added to your order if you choose to move forward.

Some of your rugs show “ON HOLD” or “RESERVED”. What does that mean?

If someone reaches out to us with questions about a rug, we will sometimes place it on hold while we work through those questions. Occasionally a client will need to take final measurements or will ask for a day to decide. We are always happy to accommodate those requests and hold a rug for you for 24 hours.

If you see this note on a rug, please do not purchase it. Reach out to us and we’ll be happy to place you on the waiting list.

Do you have additional background on the rugs?

We include all known info about origin in the rug’s description. Because we gather them from around the world, historical details are often hard to come by.

Do you ever have sales?

We keep our prices as low as possible - but occasionally have sales which are announced on our Instagram page. Follow us there!
