A dream made reality
I remember growing up thinking I couldn't have a career as an artist unless I was a teacher. As much as I love and respect teachers, that just wasn't a good choice for me! I began my journey into the small business world after my daughter was born, it began with bows and small sewing projects and grew into a successful business. I have always loved offering unique custom items that you wont find anywhere else, in that quest I began designing my own fabric and drawing designs for sublimation. After a year of designing exclusively for my own shop, I found myself sitting at my sewing machine dreaming of what I would draw next. Different creative ideas for outfits and sayings for shirts. It wasn.t until I became a rep for a major fabric company and got comfortable with the entire textile printing process that I decided I was ready to do this professionally. I started my graphic design shop and haven't stopped since.
While I do not have a degree in art or graphic design I have spent hours upon hours researching, reading and practicing as well as taking traditional art classes. I use all of the skills I have acquired over the last 13 years studying art to bring my designs to life!
My process begins with inspiration, I find or think of an idea. Whether that is a vibe, color scheme or image I find inspiration in everything around me. From there I sketch out a design onto my Ipad. I will work in different layers and techniques until I build the perfect image. This process is repeated with each individual image in a design until I get the perfect elements for what I am envisioning. From here I will piece them together in photoshop to create a unique seamless repeatable pattern.
All of my designs are high quality and drawn with love! I refuse to copy another designer and will always strive to create unique images, ideas and designs for my amazing customers!
