Crafted Elemental Art Pottery, Ritual Tools, and Occult Wares for the Magick Arts
At Backwoods Magick Studio, I handmake balanced crafted pottery of Earth, Water, Air, & Fire Elemental Art. Every piece made and spun on the wheel, is infused with positive intentions and Magick, and is unique and useful for the Witch's altar while working with spirits. I also handmake ritual tools in my studio and offer quality spiritual and occult wares in my online store. Based in Opelika, AL, this small little witchy studio is on several acres of land in the woods, where "Backwoods Witchcraft" is created and handmade. The studio came to life in 2022 and created in 2023 by me, Rosalie, the Studio Owner, and was built by my best friend, "my husband". As of this moment, the studio is being reconstructed and restored to her natural beauty. We will reopen the studio in 2024 for pickup to our locals only. It is our mission to be able to offer quality and authentic handmade spiritual items for our community as well to our customers online. Backwoods Magick Studio is the only spiritual store and studio to offer products and ritual tools that are handmade for the magical practitioner in it's community. We believe that quality, handmade, and authentic products should be available to every practitioner or curious seeker of the Magickal. At Backwoods Magick Studio, we believe in using natural resources from our land to make a lot of our crafted items such as our ritual tools. All of the pottery that is spun down and created on the wheel, has natural rainwater collected from a thunderstorm that's then used inside the clay when spinning and molding the clay. When using the rainwater in this way and working with the clay, it gives power and intentions to the creation that's being made. I am led by my guides, in spirit, with my hands, in all the work I do, always, and honor them and give gratitude and give voice to my ancestors through me, and offerings and blessings to the spirits of the land in which we live upon. I am an Artist, a Potter, Occultist, and Traditional Witch, and spend most of my time holding space here, working in the studio. I have been walking the "crooked path" and practicing Witchcraft for about 4 years now but have been a Witch all my life. I stay dedicated and committed to my guides, ancestors, and the spirits of the land that reside here. I also practice Somatic Sorcery where exploration of the body is based on magical practices. I do not offer readings/bone throwing readings as a service at this time but may offer those services in the near future as well as future pottery classes working with the elements.
