BadaAndMimo

Bada & Mimo is a miniatures studio created by Yao Lin, based in the Paris region.

Coming from a background in architecture and retail design, I combine artisanal know-how, attention to detail and visual storytelling in my work.

Inspired by nature, gastronomy and everyday life, I create entirely by hand miniature works, from commissions for restaurants and brands to jewelry and personalized creations.

The name Bada & Mimo comes from my two companions: Bada, my cat, and Mimo, a parakeet who one day entered through my window and joined my family.

I believe that even the smallest objects can tell beautiful stories.

Bada & Mimo est un studio de miniatures créé par Yao Lin, basé en région parisienne.

Issue de l’architecture et du design retail, j’associe dans mon travail savoir-faire artisanal, attention aux détails et narration visuelle.

Inspirée par la nature, la gastronomie et la vie quotidienne, je crée entièrement à la main des œuvres miniatures, des commandes pour restaurants et marques aux bijoux et créations personnalisées.

Le nom Bada & Mimo vient de mes deux compagnons : Bada, mon chat, et Mimo, une perruche qui est un jour entrée par ma fenêtre et a rejoint ma famille.

Je crois que même les plus petits objets peuvent raconter de belles histoires.
