Environmentally-Friendly Goods, Shipped Right To Your Door!
I started my shop on February 1st, 2024.
I am a Buddhist and have been a vegetarian my whole life. I grew up in a small town of 16,000 people. I was raised in a Buddhist temple of 200 people and was surrounded by nature. Peacocks and deer often roamed the streets. Compassion for animals and respect for other people were important lessons for all of us who went to school there.
I do not sell products that harm animals or the environment. As such, I do not sell leather products. I don't want animals to die so that other people can be comfortable.
I'm going to be selling mostly fantasy, animal, nature themed goods. I also sell motivational gifts and the occasional eco-friendly holiday gift (coming soon).
My older products are made through print-on-demand through Printify, but since some of the third-party printers they work with use plastic, moving forward, I'm only going to use them for printing products that aren't shipped with plastic, such as their 11 and 15 oz mugs.
Choosing print providers that don't use plastic in shipping means the costs of my goods will be higher. I can't compete with shops who use plastic in their shipping because they are able to print and ship their goods at such low costs, so I need your help to make my dream of creating this vegan gift shop a reality.
My older ceramic mugs ship in polystyrene containers, which aren't environmentally friendly. For now, I'll leave them in my store as I create new products that can be shipped in biodegradable or recyclable material.
I will do my best to reduce waste left on this planet, so my products will not contain polyester or will have recycled polyester or will be biodegradable, and the clothing I print will be 100% organic cotton (and vegan whenever possible).
I'm currently in the process of learning how to print clothing through Gelato instead of Printify. I will have fewer color options available and the prices of organic cotton clothing will be higher compared to people who are using regular cotton in their clothing, which is full of chemicals and pesticides.
Welcome to my journey of trying to make it big in the city of Los Angeles.
