Accountant by day, button maker by night!
Thank you so much for visiting my shop! BangUpButtons began from surplus supplies from making my own personal jewelry. I was never satisfied with the selection of surgical steel earrings I could find in stores! I decided to buy some blank earring posts, glue, and cute pieces to make my own earrings. Often, I would end up with extra resin flowers, jewels, and buttons.
After selling a few pieces, I decided to make a real hobby of it so I would have some extra money while in college (or atleast to pay for the earrings I kept for myself!) It has grown into a part-time job that I do when I'm not at my full-time job as an accountant/purchaser.
It has been a wonderful 4 years of button making thus far! I'm still cranking out buttons on a modified arbor press my dad made for me. My mom and I regularly go shopping for new fabrics on the weekends. My husband has helped put together all of my fabric storage. Finally, our 6 year old likes to inspect each button and piece of jewelry, hear every customer's name, and ask me if she can have some of her own "Frabic"!
I am extremely grateful for all the support my family has provided throughout these 4 years, and I am excited to see where my shop goes in the future!
