Creations Made with a Loving Hand
Thank you for visiting my shop. BareNeedle arrived from my love of sewing, a new Grand-daughter in our household, and wanting to share some things that I made with the public.
I was born in Memphis, TN. and starting sewing in high school. I later put that aside to marry and raise a family. In 1999, I divorced and I moved to Houston, TX. I held a awesome job with a company that I worked at for over 13 years and meet my wonderful, supporting husband in 2001. In 2003, a grand-daughter came into our household and my love for sewing started all over again. I pulled out my sewing machine and started making little things for her before she even arrived. After that time, I decided to share a little of what I do with others. That is how my ESTY Shop begin.
In 2013, my husband and I made a decision to leave Houston and move back to the small town in East Texas that he was born and raised in. We were given the decision to bring his oldest sister in to live with us. She had a stroke in 2007 that left her fully paralyzed and living in nursing homes. After praying about it together numerous times, we both knew that this was something we needed to do. We gave up our home, jobs, and family that was in Houston, and made the move to East Texas. We brought his sister home from a nursing home and in to live with us. This was a Hugh decision because she requires 24/7 care, but we both feel that God lend us here, and by doing this for her, we are doing God's will. I continue to sew in my spare time and I am currently in the process of re-entering school to pursue a nursing degree.
BareNeedle not only offers sewing, I also offer Embroidery, Monogramming, Heat Press , etc..... You name it... I do it... My biggest goal is to share some of what I do with others... and strive to offer the best customer service I can.
