When I began publishing the Alora's Tear series, my first instinct was that digital copies would be the lion's share of my sales. My wife suggested that I emphasize paperbacks instead. In the end, she was right.

One of the most important pieces to the paperback puzzle was a way in which we could make deliveries of books by Barham Ink special. For one, many readers want copies signed by the author. We began taking orders and signing books, only to realize that they'd need to be packaged in order to ship them to customers, which now of course seems obvious.

Instead of simply tossing the books into a box, we designed a Thank You card, and a content appropriate twine and brown paper that we hoped would delight readers as they took their first steps into the fantasy world of Vladvir.

And thus, the BarhamInk Etsy shop was born. Here, we can offer all three (and many more to come) of my books in a simple, familiar shop at prices that are much better for both us and our customers.
