They are beautiful straps, and even though I had to do a return, this company was still willing to help me.

She even let me pick the leather and hardware, which she special ordered. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch. I couldn’t be happier with the end product!

5 out of 5 starsRarely, do you find a bag that matches the quality that you pay for. In this case, basader, the designer of this handcrafted masterpiece, surpassed that expectation… literally. I spent a very long time, two years of research before I settled on this basader bag. The craftsmanship on this bag is by far some of the best work I’ve seen in a lifetime. I know and love leather…The finish and treatment on his bag is shocking. I will post a video of this bag soon and will post the link on this review or to this Etsy website. basader : Traditional meets Contemporary, from Stockholm to Brooklyn and now nested by a sea town in New England
Hi, we're Elin and Philip, a couple living in Barrington, RI, and owners of a small artisan bag company we call basader. Our brand was born in Brooklyn, NY, out of a love for enduring craftsmanship, and a passion for minimal aesthetics, basader is the culmination of our joint efforts and experience. Elin is the designer, maker, and driving force behind the basader name, while I enjoy communicating with our customers, organizing our collection, and growing our storefront.
Our initial entrance into the Etsy marketplace was a natural progression. Working as a knitwear designer at Ralph Lauren, Elin began experimenting with bag making in her free time. Using the highest-quality materials, traditional techniques, and contemporary design, the initial basader collection slowly unfolded before our eyes. Still, knowing we could never get our work to the right audience via traditional retail channels—which would have surely resulted in sizable price increases—Etsy, was an obvious choice. And it was! Within the first year on Etsy, Elin was able to leave her position at Ralph Lauren and pursue our small business dream fulltime, something we never imagined possible.
Living in Brooklyn for more than 10 years, Elin was born and raised in a small town in Sweden, and initially drawn to Greenpoint in pursuit of a fashion degree at FIT. Infatuated on impact with the raw Brooklyn landscape, the basader brand can best be described as Scandinavian minimalism coupled with a coarse Brooklyn aesthetic. And likewise, raised in a small New England town, yet heavily influenced by contemporary minimal art, we share a similar aesthetic that we try to imbue in all of our work.
More than anything, we strive to offer the best possible craftsmanship, quality, and design at an approachable price, and Etsy truly is an incomparable platform. The ease of dialogue with customers is but one priceless example, and we feel that within the past several months, our small idea has been broadcast to an overwhelming audience. basader is a mission to offer high-quality fashion at affordable prices. To know that our customers are purchasing a piece that can be passed down for generations is a rewarding experience, and we’re so grateful that Etsy is helping us realize this dream.

If you'd like to make a return, simply contact us for further details.
Return Shipping: unfortunately, unless we make a fulfillment error, the order is damaged in transit, or we misrepresent an item in one of our listings, we typically do not cover return shipping due to the prohibitive costs associated with shipping substantial/heavy leather bags.

Shipping
Our preferred shipping method is USPS priority mail (delivery within 2-3 business days in most circumstances). USPS priority mail does include a tracking number, so we will gladly provide this to you.
Express Shipping within the US:
If you're interested in a faster shipping method, just let us know. All of our currently available bags can be prepared for overnight shipment for a small price adjustment.
International Shipping:
We are happy to offer worldwide shipping. But please keep in mind that your country of residence may charge customs fees on US parcels. We have no control over such fees, nor do we know what they are for each country, so please check with your local post office before ordering if you have concerns. International packages typically arrive within 6-10 business days. Unfortunately, we cannot make any ship time guarantees for international deliveries.
