If you’ve noticed that many of the handmade and vintage items have disappeared from this shop, don’t worry—they haven’t gone away!

To better organize my creative businesses, all of my handmade items and vintage treasures have moved to my new Etsy shop, Cottage Bloom Threads.

There you’ll find a growing collection of handmade gifts created by me, along with quilts, vintage buttons, linens, sewing treasures, seasonal décor, and many other unique cottage-inspired finds.

BasketCaseNeedlework offers unique and whimsical handmade designs to hand embroider and now machine embroidery.

Welcome to my shop!

I've been designing embroidery pattern for most of my life, beginning with my own small quilt shop I opened in Grapevine, Texas in 1993.

What began as stitching pieces for my own shop soon turned into something more. Customers started requesting patterns for the items I made, and before long I was designing small monthly hand embroidery patterns—simple, approachable designs that remain close to my heart today.

From there, my work expanded into wholesale pattern design, and I became known for my primitive-style embroidery patterns. My collections were carried in quilt shops across the country and internationally, with my Angels of the Month series becoming a beloved favorite among stitchers.

After taking a break for a while, I found my way back to designing—it’s always been a part of who I am. Now, I create both hand and machine embroidery patterns, blending years of experience with a lasting passion for thoughtful details and meaningful designs.

Every pattern in my shop is made with care, hoping to bring a touch of calm, creativity, and joy to your stitching time. Each one is crafted with plenty of love.
