Hello, I'm Sara! An aspiring healer, artist, Colorado native, music enthusiast and student of life. When I'm not working my day job I'm studying aromatherapy and formulating natural body care goodies.
I can't quite narrow down the exact moment I started looking at body care differently. I believe it started around 2011 after a few life changing events forced me to really look at who I wanted to be, not who I thought I should be. It was then that I started embracing my curly hair, threw out my make up and examined the "body care" products I used at the time to see if they actually did any good for my body. Turns out they contained a lot of junk and I wasn't cool with that!
After deciding to follow new passions in life, I ended up landing a job at a company in the Pacific Northwest that sells herbs, teas and body care ingredients. This further sparked my interest in natural body care, which led me to creating Batiah Botanicals.
I have been trained in level 1 aromatherapy and I am currently working to finish my level 2 product formulation course, with hopes to continue my education in natural health and wellness. Every product is handmade by me and I use organic ingredients whenever possible. I plan to continue adding more to my store as I go, but still taking the time necessary to put good intentions into my formulation process.
I hope to provide my customers with beautifully, simple products inspired by nature, that they can use to support their mind, body and soul. Enjoy!
