Welcome to my Art Shop! My name is Batool :)
I am beyond excited to have this shop opened after dreaming about it for so many years. Many may find opening an online shop quite easy but for me it was anything but easy.
Born in Aleppo, Syria, raised in Dubai, UAE and currently living in Hannover, Germany. I've been moving for a long time and like to consider myself a wanderer soul that belongs everywhere in our beautiful earth.
I've always had this dream about creating art that would stay long after I vanish, leaving behind pieces of "me" here on earth long after I'm gone as a prove of my existence.. that one day, I played, ran, laughed, cried, loved and was loved.. I Existed. Sharing pieces of my soul and joy with strangers who would cherish it, keep it safe and my name be read by their grandchildren.. After so many researches I finally achieved this dream but I continue to learn and try to figure everything out.
I was born an artist as I have inherited my father's talent. I started out with charcoal portraits of my family, then fell in love with oil painting and since I love to try everything life offers me, I added watercolors, pastels and acrylics to my magical art tools.
I am inspired and fascinated by breathing magical air in forgotten forests, drowning in deep turquoise seas, absorbing the warmth of golden sunshine with cool wind on my face, melting while starring silently in contrast between light and shadow, noticing beauty in everything and anything in our universe.
Unlike my father who abandoned art, thus art abandoned him, I wish to create for the rest of my life. In the future: I see my self sitting in a small studio full of light and color, surrounded by finished and unfinished pieces of my heart, soul & joy.
