The majority of my items are upcycled vintage pieces from the 1960s and 1970s. They are over 40 years old. I put a great deal of care into lovingly restoring them and then upcycling them into the Gothic beauties you see here. The companies that originally sold these items, did so exclusively in home shows (ie at parties in people's houses, not in retail spaces). They are made either of the signature Syrocowood (which was a pourable wood composite that would harden) or a durable plastic resin (heavier than today's made in China plastic).

I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. I do not give credit for shipping errors or items lost in the mail. But if an item arrives damaged. Please reach out as I insure every package I mail. If an item is damaged in shipping, an insurance claim can be made.

My insects come from insect farms which help to provide a sustainable and eco-friendly living for people in developing countries. By purchasing from me, you are supporting people who make their living by working with nature, not against it.

Insects may be subject to fading over time if not displayed properly. To display your insects properly, do not expose them to direct sunlight. Some insects, such as butterflies and moths, are more susceptible to fading, while other insects, such as beetles, don't fade hardly at all.

These are vintage mirrors. The listings include both the frame and the mirror unless otherwise noted. Since it is a vintage mirror (often 40-50 years old) there might be slight scratching on the mirror. All mirrors have been examined to verify if there is damage, it is very minimal. If the mirror has substantial age spots or desilvering, this will be noted in the listing.
