What shall we make next?
Our revolving mix of art projects is funny to explain to folks… we’re basically serial crafters. The #1 question family and friends ask us is "What have you been up to?", because we've always got a project going on. Every week one of us gets inspired to make something new and we're all in to figure out how to make it… and it’s been going on like this for years. Stained glass, glass fusing, beaded jewelry, friendship bracelets, wood working, metal smithing, sticker making, snail mailing, pinback buttons, sewing, illustration, shrinky dinks, resin pouring, clay sculpting…. the list just keeps going.
Currently Kelly is making stickers and traveling postcards, Nate is tinkering with copper foiled stained glass sculptures and Wren is making beaded jewelry and drawing art for stickers. Next week this could all change and we’re doing something new and adding something crazy different to our shop. You just never know!
________________________________
Kelly - designer/shop manager: I love baking, cats, stickers, all things snail mail and being crafty. I’m the one that started our Etsy shop over 10 years ago. My work space is a spare bedroom I’ve 100% claimed and turned into what we refer to as ‘the art room’. It houses all the colorful art supplies you can imagine, my Apple computer, cricut cutter, sewing machine and enough yarn and thread to get us to the moon and back.
Nate - designer/illustrator/jack of all trades
If you can cram sawdust, action figures, comic books, and being an outdoorsman into one person - this would be Nate. Woodworking, glass art, fine illustration, resin pouring, and metal smithing are just a few of the things he’s responsible for. His work space is a fantastic artistic corner of our basement PLUS a wood working shop in our backyard.
Wren - Graphic designer in training
Currently working on mastering digital drawing with a pen and wacom tablet, Wren loves trying art trends online including bracelet making, shrinky dink charms, friendship bracelets, resin pouring and sticker making to name a few. Wren has been participating in and winning art contests since she was 2 (as her artist-parents, we couldn't be more proud LOL!)
We design/create all of the items in our shop and love being able to share our art around the world. Knowing someone out there is happy to buy one of our creations keeps us wanting to make more!
