Built on the Bayou of Southeast Texas
Bayou Built was inspired in 2018 when I made my first piece, an American flag dedicated to my wife's cousin - a Marine who passed in Iraq in 2004. Since then I've made around 5,500 pieces.
My name is Stephen and what started as a hobby has turned into a full time gig for me. I started this Etsy page in the summer of 2018 and found much success with over 1,500 5-star reviews. Over all the years in business, I've never taken a single return. In 2021, I launched my personal site at www.bayoubuilt.com. Our small shop is located in a small southeast Texas town near the bayou.
I have had the honor of making pieces for the director of the United States Secret Service, the actual Secretary of the Treasury, the FBI, CIA, Capitol Police, Navy Seals, U.S. Congress, the Department of Homeland Security, all military branches and countless other agencies. My flags are in all 50 states, 15 countries and multiple U.S. Embassies around the world.
