Can I sell my finished beadwork made from your pattern?
Yes, you may sell finished items made from my patterns, as long as you follow these conditions:
1. Purchase the pattern from my Etsy shop, Bead Crumbs. The ability to replicate my designs does not grant permission to reproduce or sell my work.
2. No mass production or sharing. You may sell your finished items, but you cannot share my designs for production. Mass production is prohibited.
3. Give credit. When posting photos of your finished items online (social media, online shops, etc.), please credit Bead Crumbs as the designer.
Copyright: The PDF pattern is for your personal use. Distributing, copying, or creating derivative works (such as tutorials or how-to videos) is prohibited without my consent.
Do your patterns include instructions?
Yes and No. My patterns do not come with instructions unless explicitly stated.
Learn to brick stitch instructions are provided here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeadCrumbs?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=53125047

Where is the starting point on your patterns?
If you're new to beading, it's a good idea to begin with the longest or widest row closest to the center of your project. You can choose to leave a long tail if you plan on using the same thread to stitch the opposite side of the pattern.
Alternatively, some prefer starting at the top or bottom edge - it's entirely up to your preference! There is no right or wrong way to bead, so do what works best for you.
You can try out some "Free Practice Patterns" before making a purchase. The information is below.
Free Practice Patterns
If you want to see the design and format of my patterns and practice the craft before buying, please check out the link below. Most of my designs are created on a peyote chart, but they can be rotated to weave as brick stitch (which I prefer for irregularly shaped beadwork).
https://www.youtube.com/@BeadCrumbsHawaii/community
(or go to https://www.youtube.com/beadcrumbshawaii and click the "Community" tab).
Why do you create your brick stitch patterns on a peyote graph?
1. My designs look cuter on a peyote graph.
2. A peyote graph can be easily rotated to weave as brick stitch, which I prefer for irregular shapes.
3. Gravity! When working on a brick stitch graph, beads are arranged horizontally, and the sides may fold together like a book cover, distorting your hard work. The fold can still happen for designs made on peyote charts that are turned sideways to weave as brick stitch. However, when you rotate the finished piece back to its upright position, gravity will help your beadwork lie flat. Looser thread tension will result in silkier pieces.
Can I change the bead colors in your patterns?
Yes! Bead colors are a suggestion only. You can personalize each design according to your style. For more information about the durability of bead colors, please view this link: https://www.miyuki-beads.co.jp/english/seed/07.html
Custom and personalized orders
Unfortunately, I am not accepting custom pattern requests at the moment.
It's a digital item. Why is it "Sold Out" - no longer available?
1. Supporting Artists and Crafters: I focus on cute, limited-release designs that allow customers to create personalized gifts, and allow talented makers the opportunity to offer unique handmade beaded products in their micro/small businesses.
2. Flexibility: I want my designs to remain fresh, exciting, and full of happy surprises!
3. Minimizing Cost. Small-batch releases allow me to manage expenses more effectively while ensuring each design reaches its target audience. Feel free to message me if you're interested in a "sold out" pattern.
Please drop me a note if you have any questions.
Are these really your own designs?
Yes! These are my original designs, carefully crafted by hand with love and imagination from my own ideas. Each design I share represents many hours of my time, energy, and creativity.
You may encounter tutorials or reproductions of my patterns offered elsewhere, but please note that these are made without my permission. Mass or wholesale copies of my designs are never allowed. If you have any questions about the originality of my work, I would be happy to discuss it with you.
When you choose to purchase patterns directly from my shop, you are helping me continue to create new designs. Thank you so much for your support!
