Frequently asked questions
Do Rex Begonias look different in a 2" size vs. a 4" size?
Rex Begonias look different in various stages of maturity. A 2” rex may look visually much different than a 4” or larger. Colors, brightness, crispness also look different under different lighting, temperatures and seasonal times of year.
Do you offer Returns?
Because of the live nature of much of the product we sell, and for the integrity of keeping our production facility clean of harmful pests and diseases BFF LLC does not offer returns of any products.
What is the timeframe I need to contact you in if I have an issue with my order?
Claims of quality need to be communicated to us via Esty or E-mail within 5 days of arrival of your shipment. Submissions of pictures are required for us to determine what may be the issue and how to remedy it. We are not perfect and we ship thousands of plants each month and we do make mistakes. Our goal is to accurately get your order to you as quickly possible. If it is determined to be an issue of shipping damage we handle those on a case by case basis.
What happens if I don't purchase a heat pack or cold pack for my order?
Failure to purchase a ‘Cold Protection Pack’ or Heat Protection Pack’ at checkout voids any warranty or claims of plants arriving damaged or in less than optimal condition. Live plants need to be treated accordingly, please unpack your order as quickly as possible to allow them to acclimate to your environment as soon as possible. If you are in an area that is forecasted to have temperatures below 40 Fahrenheit or above 88 Fahrenheit during delivery we require that you purchase either a ‘Heat Pack’ or a ‘Cold Pack’ to ensure necessary action is taken to protect your plants. If a claim is determined to be valid BFF reserves the right to refund the purchase price of the item or send out a replacement of the same or equal value.
What happens if my package is damaged upon arrival?
If the exterior of your package is visibly damaged or crushed on receipt please take pictures so we can document that in a claim with USPS. In the case of a parcel getting lost or not showing up we may file a claim with USPS for lost merchandise and still send out a replacement in the interim.
Do you offer advice?
We are often asked for advice on cultural requirements and best practices. We want you to succeed with our plants and welcome you reaching out to us. Our advice is from accumulated knowledge of decades of growing plants and determining our own best practices. We make no claim as to the validity of our advice in your specific circumstances and customers acknowledge we assume no liability from actions taken based on our advice.

BFF LLC is a small business and we offer a very unique product to our customers. We try very hard to provide you with a high quality product with every order. We do occasionally make mistakes. We ask that communication via email or chats through Etsy with our staff be of a respectful manner at all times. Offensive communication or derogatory emails or chats will not be tolerated at any time. We encourage you to reach out to us with questions and comments and answer them all as best we can.
