About 10 years ago, I decided I wanted to learn how to knit. I sat down with two needles and some yarn, and several youtube.com videos later, I finished my first scarf, complete with three large holes. I knitted off and on over the next couple of years, but it wasn’t until the birth of my daughter, Ellie, that I began to get serious about my knitting. I started out with small projects, like hats, and eventually worked up the nerve to try out more challenging projects like socks, blankets and even a dress for Ellie. Shortly before my son, Miles, was born, I decided to tackle crochet and instantly fell in love.
In July of 2011, I decided to open my etsy shop with little to no expectations of ever selling anything. It was just something fun for me to do outside of being “mommy.” I have been blown away by the success of my little shop. After one year, Beautiful Ewe products have found homes in 43 of the United States and over 6 countries. I cannot express how thankful I am for the support my business has received. I am so blessed to have found something that I can be passionate about and pour my creativity into, while still being able to be a stay at home mom.
I offer a wide variety of products for babies to adults and love the challenge of custom designs. Each one of my items is handmade by me with care put into each stitch.
