Beautiful Petra's Story
Diamonds are a symbol of love. They are immaculate crystals that represent the virtues of faithfulness, purity, and the inner joy between two people that want an outward symbol of the love that they feel on the inside. We have been crafting the most unique diamond rings since 2009, and, our satisfaction lies in sharing in the joy and happiest moments in the lives of others.
The symbolic representation that a diamond holds goes much deeper than the sparkly crystal that the eye sees. It is in itself a journey of perfection, something that is formed over billions of years to produce a gem that is pure and rare. This stone of commitment speaks of everlasting light, durability, and consistency. There is nothing that says brilliance and love like the gift of a diamond.
How it all began
Diamonds evoke a sense of nostalgia within me. My teen years were just about the same as any teenager, but it was during this time that I fell in love with diamonds. I remember a family friend reiterating the story of finding his wife's diamond on the floor at work. The romance! I was so captivated that I prayed that someday my future husband would find my diamond too. And, in typical love story fashion, I met a guy three years later. As we strolled through the streets of New York City one day, he found a platinum earring. This stunning piece of jewelry had in its setting a 1.00 carat and .20 carat diamond. What are the chances? My fairytale became a reality when we got engaged and these diamonds were used in my engagement ring.
As a couple, it became our mission to help our friends to find diamonds for their engagement rings. I embraced this as my calling in life, and I combined my love for helping others with my love for diamonds and turned jewelry making into my career. It was this powerful realization and these amazing experiences that gave birth to Beautiful Petra's Etsy shop.
