Passionate about sewing....
All the products in my shop, my bunting and appliques, are designed and created by me. I hand draw, hand cut and hand stitch my appliques for my embroidery, which means they possess a unique quality.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved making things by hand. I discovered a love of sewing and embroidery from a young age and particularly enjoyed my textiles lessons at school! My Great Grandmother was a dressmaker and used to teach her daughters to make clothes for their dolls. My lovely Aunty Pauline was a very talented lady and turned her hand to an abundance of crafts including felt making, creating her own cards and quilting. Sewing is in my genes!
I made my very first string of bunting early in 2011. My inspiration came from some gorgeous bunting hanging in the marquee at my sister-in-law's wedding. After having made bunting for my children and gifts for friends and family, Beautiful Thinking was born! I opened my Etsy shop in September 2011 and am delighted to say that I have sold hundreds of buntings which have decorated homes and special events all over the world. I also supply local galleries, florists and craft shops with my bunting and lovely handmade things.
I pride myself on great customer service and thrive to ensure that my customers have a unique shopping experience.
