Our Story
Hey there! I'm Steph :)
While freelancing in design, I started looking for a more flexible way to stay in the world of design while making my boy my #1 priority. With the encouragement of my husband who had been trying to get me to "sell my designs" for awhile...I said "nah" and then 6 months later I gave it a name and Beholden was born.
I started with prints, and then my husband encouraged me to try mugs. I said "nah" and then 6 months later I gave it a shot. My husband encouraged me to give hats and apparel a shot and well... you can guess what happened. (we have a pattern)
We are Beholden Life ™ because I believe you become what you behold. I wanted to create pieces that inspired you to stop and pause in life and remember truth. Stillness is truly under-rated. I am forever beholden to the Lord for His goodness and kindness, and sometimes it takes the quiet to refocus my gaze.
I love getting to be a part of people's life in a small way- creating items that bring people joy in their everyday and help them to celebrate the good things of life is absolutely amazing. It is truly my honor. Thank you for supporting me, my husband and our sweet kiddos as we dream and put in the daily work to grow Beholden into a lifestyle brand that inspires stillness in your everyday.
