Bell Remnants has been in business for over -40- years, originally as a firm in the business of buying and selling scrap metal, evolving to retail sale of remnant fabrics, operating a number of retail stores across the south, with home offices in Jackson, Mississippi.
During the 1990's, the business grew to include the liquidation of estates, primarily involving antiques and collectibles, with mail order sales marketed through such publications as "Antique Trader" and other weekly trade papers, shipping thousands of items across the United States.
As the internet became more prominent, Bell Remnants began marketing online in the year 2000, through eBay, Craigslist, Etsy, and other e-commerce venues.
Most recently, our firm has chosen to promote our offerings through Facebook, engaging our clients through social networking, promoting our auctions, estate sales, and sale of antiques and collectibles.
Today, even though our firm primarily sells wholesale to the trade, antique stores, dealers, and interior decorators, we continue to ship thousands of items worldwide, marketed online, through our e-commerce partners.
As auctioneers, operating under the Mississippi Auctioneer Commission License #202, our firm engages in business and estate liquidations, government auctions, and charity events, not wholly focused on antiques.
