Always tinkering with wire and beads
I've always been fascinated with tools. When my dad could not find his needle nose pliers, he knew who to ask. Me! He finally bought me a pair for Christmas one year, along with some copper wire. I ordered beads from catalogs and my mom gave me some of her old necklaces with beads. I had more fun! I could wire wrap, weave, attach beads to anything! So that's how my fascination with jewelry started. When I discovered Etsy, it was a way to share what I had been making all those years. and it gives me a place I can dream up new designs using opals and sparkly crystal gems in my new favorite item, belly rings.
I enjoy the creative process inspired by jewelry and love making something entirely new using modern materials like surgical steel. I look for ways of adding Swarovski stones to these for a unique touch of sparkle. I like using unfinished surgical steel components and materials and designing a new item with them by adding druzy and colorful gemstones. I also love opals and look for ways to add them to my designs to create a beautiful, one of a kind piece.
