Hello,
I’m Beste, the founder of Bestbone / Bonetasarım. I graduated from the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2014, and that same year, I began my graduate studies. While I had always dreamed of becoming an academic, I suddenly found myself working as a designer in the private sector. 🙂
In 2018, I started making my own bonnets with the dream of bringing a project to life. With the pandemic hitting in 2020, I found myself spending more time at home and decided to roll up my sleeves to grow my brand. Due to the high demand, I dedicated two rooms in my house entirely to my business. On Instagram, I managed to reach my customers directly without intermediaries, creating custom patterns based on their needs and offering personalized pattern options.
With the aim of making our dedicated healthcare workers feel special during these challenging times and bringing a touch of joy to their lives, I created comfortable patterns based on their requests, including decorative stitching, a constantly updated range of hundreds of designs, and surgical bonnets made from 100% cotton fabric.
