Hi, I’m Bet!

I started making cold process soap in 2014 after discovering that handmade is truly the best kind. I loved the way it made my skin feel and how long the scent lasts. I fell in love with everything about it. The process itself was a bit challenging at first, but soon after my first batch, I was soaping every day! Blending essential oils and designing intricate colorful swirls into my bars was so exciting. About a month into my new hobby, I had more soap than I knew what to do with. It made great gifts for family and friends and eventually blossomed into a small business.

Over the years, I’ve added other skin loving products to my line as well as botanical soy candles. Each recipe is my own, and I still handcraft them all myself to this day! It is my most favorite thing to do (aside from spending time with my little one and his dad!)
I’m happy to say that Bet’s Bars is now a household name here in Orlando. My products can be found at community craft markets and in several local shops.

Through the art of handcrafted soap, I have been able to raise funds for causes I’m passionate about including Zebra Coalition (empowering LGBTQ+ youth to thrive), The One Orlando Fund (for the Pulse tragedy victims), The Bail Project, ACLU, and currently The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund via my Free Palestine bars.
