My problem is when I try to use it the post is marked as AI generated and as an author that’s a problem because some readers believe if you use AI for one thing then you’re using it to write your books as well and I want no part of that argument. So I love them but won’t be using them.

Thank you so much for this lovely review! as far as instagram is concerned that's really crazy like even minor, non-generative edits using simple tools—like Canva's background remover, embed tracking metadata that Meta's automated system detects. So you can still used them just before uploading your final image to Instagram, use an EXIF/metadata removal tool or screenshot the image to clear out the C2PA tracking data. I hope that helps :)
