I’ve always been a dreamer, especially when I’m out walking - most of my ideas arrive while I’m happily lost in the clouds. My work pulls from Pop Art, Surrealism, and Art Deco, each reflecting a different facet of who I am.
Comedy also shapes my creative world, particularly the deliciously grotesque characters crafted by Julia Davis and the League of Gentlemen. Their oddities spark my imagination in all the best ways.
I’ve never believed beauty is fixed - despite what social media might say. As a child, nothing thrilled me more than making a glitter‑and‑glue “mess,” and creativity was always encouraged.
Like most creatives, I march to my own slightly eccentric rhythm. My process rarely fits neatly into a nine‑to‑five; ideas take time, and inspiration keeps unpredictable hours. That’s why I actually enjoy commissions - they give my wandering imagination something solid to bounce off.
