1 out of 5 starsI have not received the item yet. I purchased the item for my husband for his birthday with a shipping cost of $16. Now the seller is holding me hostage saying he can't ship it for less than $34 -- more than double the cost I agreed upon. I either have to pay the additional shipping cost or cancel the order according to the seller. I made a contract with the seller for a certain price including shipping. If the shipping cost is more than he anticipated, doesn't he have to honor our agreement? Isn't that the cost of doing business. If it only cost $10 to ship the item would he really refund me the $6 ? Can someone please help me. I don't know who to contact regarding the situation. What I do know us that I feel like the seller is trying to take advantage of me

Hi Carol, I am so sorry for your inconvenience. Please refer to this information from our policies: "If actual shipping is higher than the estimate, we will pay up to $2.00 over. Beyond that amount, we will message with an exact estimate." We have messaged you both through Etsy and email with no response other than this review. We have issued a full refund and sincerely apologize for the delay. We pride ourselves on having great customer service, as evidenced by our reviews. If your shipping was only $10, we would have most definitely refunded the $6, and have done so in several situations in the past. Again, it was not my intention to hold anything or anyone hostage.
