Childhood love inspired into a craft
I've always loved birds (owls especially) since I was little.. well, one day as an adult, I realized I could do something to help the little feathered creatures I loved so much.
My husband and I went to an Owl Prowl with a local group of birders. There, we met a wonderful lady who took in and rehabilitated injured birds. We asked if she was open for volunteers and to our excitement she said yes!! We started and have been volunteering there ever since. Well, getting to the point, she has a fund raising event every year and when I got into felting, I thought it was a great idea to sell them there and help her raise a little extra money. People really loved them and so I decided to open up a shop on Etsy!
I donate money (as well as time!) to her and a few other local wildlife rehabbers every year and my sales here on Etsy help me give a little extra, so it's nice! I'm also going to sell them again at her festival next year.. but this time I'll have more little creations to offer :)
My husband also makes items on this shop, whenever they are his creations, they will be listed as such :) Thank you all for looking at our shop!
