A family story
Hi, I'm Francesca, I was born and raised in Florence, I live in Chianti and I'm the owner of Bia!
Bia - Bizzarri Accessori was born from a passion. From an early age I started knitting (thanks to my grandmother) and crocheting (thanks to my mom). Over the years I have always continued to create small and big items for myself and for my friends. In 2012 two of my best friends were about to become mothers and I made some accessories for their babies. At the same time the fashion was offering large lace earrings and I knew how to make them... so it all started! In the meantime, I decided to quit my job in marketing for a large company to join my boyfriend in another city and shortly after I became a mother. After Martino's birth, together with my husband, we decided to throw ourselves into this adventure and transform my passion into a real job.
It wasn't always easy. But we've come this far!
Now Martino is my most valuable consultant, he helps me create new products, test their quality and his feedback is always the most important to me. Giuliano, my husband, helps me manage the shop, especially in the markets, and without him I would have given up a hundred thousand times.
Ours is a very small business that grew up around our family, where each of us puts our heart. Our goal is to offer you quality products, paying close attention to the choice of materials and respect for the environment.
