"Wake Up and Save a Life"
Black Dog Threads is custom apparel featuring bad ass designs for the whole family - human and canine! Black Dog Threads was created in 2013 and named after my two rescue Pitadors (Pit / Lab mixes). Pit Bulls have always had a special place in my heart (as made evident through my designs) and I especially love the black dogs, as they have a harder time finding homes.
I'm passionate about animal rescue and wanted a way to share that passion with other like-minded folks. One idea led to another and BDT was created. I hope my shirts will get people's attentions, be a conversation piece and hopefully, make a difference.
After becoming a mom, I introduced making non-dog related shirts to include a few of my other passions - babies, grunge, horror. Though not rescue related, these items are included in the monthly-specific fundraisers.
I am proud to support animal rescues and shelters across the country, donating a percentage of proceeds during monthly fundraisers. In addition to my own designs, I also work with groups to create one-of-a-kind designs to celebrate special events and occasions.
