BELLA, THE WANDERER
You’ve probably seen Bella in our family photo — our official product tester.
She’s 13, sweet, well-behaved… and completely in love with her cosy bed.
Or so we thought.
Because when Bella sees an opportunity… she goes.
Suddenly she’s not 13 anymore — she runs like a greyhound and the whole world becomes her playground.
THIS TIME WAS DIFFERENT
It had happened before, and we never really worried. She always came back quickly, or a kind stranger would bring her home — her tag always did its job.
Until one day, it didn’t.
We found her two days later.
And the truth hit us hard: the engraving on her tag had worn down so much, it was barely readable.
IT’S JUST A TAG… UNTIL IT ISN’T
For years, we treated tags as something simple.
We chose them based on price, replaced them often, and never thought twice.
But in those two days, living with the fear of losing her… everything changed.

rust
scratch
fade
And when you need them most, they fail.
TAG A PAW
I’m a jeweller. Pet tags were never the plan.
But I had the skills, the tools… and, let’s be honest, a bit of ego.
So I set out to make something different:
a tag that doesn’t fade,
doesn’t rust,
doesn’t bend,
and stays clear and readable for life.
Bella got the first one.
Then friends.
Then people at the park started asking.
And just like that, Tag A Paw was born.
OUR MISSION (NOT TO SAVE THE WORLD 🙂)
We won’t save the world.
But if we can help keep pets safe,
bring them back home,
and create something people can truly rely on —
that’s enough for us.
And if we get to meet amazing people and their stories along the way… even better.

Bella is still living her best life.
She now runs Product Testing & Development,
alongside our toddler Allegra (also known as Trouble),
who is in charge of the Unhappy Customers Department.
Safe to say… standards are high.
