We each have our own unique chapters in our journey, always needing God’s grace to help us grow into who he created us to be
Welcome to my chapter!
I have been a home maker, gift maker for many years. Now that my kids are grown, I am setting out on a new adventure!
Native to the California, West Coast, and my personal love of flowers and architecture, I am inspired and enamored by the character, simplicity, and graceful humbleness of the Spanish architecture found in the California Missions, and the diverse beauty of the West Coast. I also love delighting in the little simple things.
I love and value peace and simplicity, finding myself drawn to the little ways of
Saint Therese. Starting little, with simple steps has been a huge help for me with overcoming areas of resistance, especially when trying to cultivate new habits.
I hope to convey this technique through my aesthetic.
However, Bloom Ever After was born from my mothering heart as an effort to problem solve. I am hoping for more hearts to connect and stay rooted to our Lord, searching his will in the ways we should go. God, knowing the bigger picture, always knows what is best for us.
We are each intentionally handmade by God, beautiful and precious. Each of us having our own unique character. I am hoping my designs will reflect this message to the one who receives it.
I believe handmade is not only uniquely designed and made by the maker, but also leads to a genuine and unique expression of “you” for the one who’s heart it speaks to. As a gift, it is something picked from the heart because something in our heart wants to speak something into the heart of the one receiving.
Handmade also tends to be synonymous with to be cherished and well loved
I hope for this for you and for those you love.
We each have our own unique chapters in our journey, always needing God’s grace to help us grow into who he created us to be. I hope to inspire the “you” that God created you to be to connect with him and shine, because the best place to be in this life and the one to come is being connected and rooted to him.
The additional tug within my heart….
Because many of us, especially growing up in the faith may not understand or be aware that there are several kinds of abuse. We don’t always know or understand what we have never been exposed to, either directly or thru walking with someone who has. The awareness, existence and prevalence of verbal and emotional abuse and the damage caused by it is not often heard or spoken about. If something is never heard, we won’t know enough to be able to be protected from it. It is better for both the person and for the sake of families to protect someone from entering the pain of abuse than to recover from it and it’s reaching consequences. I am wanting to encourage healing and future protection for our families to be passed down instead of brokenness. I recommend and encourage you to become aware of both the overt and covert types of this abuse and manipulation tactics used for the protection of women (and men) especially those closest to your heart. In many instances this type of abuse can slip under the radar, especially for merciful and empathetic hearts. Please join with me in encouraging hearts to be rooted to our Lord. It is the best place for us to forever be. We are all part of the story of building the kingdom of God. One family looking out for each other. 💕
