I can't grow cut flowers where I live. Not enough sun, for one thing. So for twelve years I've done the next best thing — followed the Pacific Northwest bloom year with my cameras, from the first hellebores of February to the last dahlias before frost. I know when things bloom here and exactly what they look like at their peak, because catching that peak is my obsession.
Bloom Year Press turns those twelve years into things you can use: garden planners dated for real Pacific Northwest seasons — checked against the people who grow flowers for a living, never guessed — and prints from the fields, festivals, and nursery tables where I've stood with a camera since 2014.
Everything here is my own photography and my own research. These planners are for the gardens I would have if I could (maybe someday). But for now, they can be yours.
