How It Started
Blú Rose Designs started as a passion project back in 2015. My husband convinced me to open an Etsy shop to sell my cards and prints that I was designing. Like most, I started out designing just for friends, family, and fun. I've always loved art + design, and I am thrilled that I get to share my designs with the world.
DESIGN STYLE
My design style has evolved over the years, but you'll find that most of my designs are modern, minimalist, and chic. I like to get inspiration from home decor + designs from different eras (loving the 1920s and the 70s right now).
MEET AMBER
I am a designer, artist, wife, + mom. I have an amazing husband and son, and honestly, they are the reasons I work so hard into building this brand. We currently reside on the west side of Cleveland, OH. When I'm not working, you'll either find me running after my 1-year-old in the Metroparks or dining out in Lakewood.
Here are a few of my favorite things...
Travel. I loooove to travel. Don't be surprised if you see us traveling in a trailer or cyber truck one of these days #trailerlife. I would love to take a year off and travel to all the National Parks.
Photography. No, I'm not a photographer but maybe one day. I'm really into architecture or landscape photography. Of course, you wouldn't know it from the 1,001 photos of my son on my phone.
Movies. Don't judge, but my favorite movie is the Mummy. I am obsessed with everything Egyptian, and I've probably watched that movie at least 20 times. I loved going to the movies every week with my husband (pre-covid and baby), but now I'm excited to re-watch the Disney classics with my son.
VISION
I have some pretty big ideas about where Blú Rose will go in the next ten years. Home decor, gifts, greeting cards, and a physical retail location. I hope you stick with me throughout this creative journey.

To inspire + create beautiful stationery that will bring happy moments at every stage in life.
PRODUCTS + PROCESS
We are moving towards a sustainable future here at BRD. We print all of our invitations + cards on eco-friendly + sustainable paper like bamboo, hemp, and recycled cotton. We are always looking for ways to either recycle or find eco-friendly packaging and paper products. We've also partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree with every order!
