This is my first time doing foundation paper piecing, and I'm thrilled with how this is going. I'm using this pattern to make a memory quilt for a friend using her loved one's favorite shirts. I can see using this block for a quilt using just two colors. I'd purchase from this shop again.

The angles on this tree were exactly what I needed to match other blocks in my quilt. Another hook was that the pattern came in 3 sizes; used 2, the 8 and 10". The FPP quick start sheet was appreciated. I always forget how to start. Great pattern, I'll use it again I'm sure!

Getting Ready to Sew

I create sewing patterns that are both useful and pretty, with a focus on recycling and upcycling wherever possible.

I first discovered sewing as a child, watching my mum at work. I began with hand sewing, then eventually bought my own sewing machine. After many attempts to make things for my home – and a few sewing classes along the way – I’ve come to truly enjoy creating handmade items for both my loved ones and myself.

With a background in design, I’ve always been drawn to colour and texture. Designing sewing patterns combines both of these passions, making the process as challenging as it is enjoyable.
