Hello! My name is Sarah and I’m the owner, creator and craft-maker behind BlueFawnDesign. As a kid, I always had a knack for virtually any creative pursuit, and I found myself drawn to nature and art. I spent many days wandering the woods near my home and playing make-believe games. After I discovered polymer clay online, I quickly became interested in making miniatures, and I took inspiration from my time outdoors in doing so, making bird nests, animal figurines, mushrooms and the like. I always loved the idea of using creativity and artistry to create wearable jewelry and usable products, so I began selling my creations in the form of charms, earrings, and necklaces off the counter of my family's restaurant in 2013 before moving online a year later.
While, in the past, I have primarily made sculpted pieces under the name “littlechickcharms,” after a break from selling, I made the decision to rebrand my account and to incorporate more variety in the materials and mediums of my work. I have recently graduated from college and would love to use my free time to grow this lasting hobby into a bona fide little biz.
As someone who loves quirky decor, literature, nature, sarcastic humor, and dips into the uncanny valley, I try to imbue items with an element of fun and intrigue in the hopes that they will bring joy to whomever they find their way to around the world.
