Care instructions
Stained glass should always be handled with care.
When hanging, be sure that if you choose to use a suction cup it is attached to the hanging surface well. I recommend more permanent hanging methods as you never know when a suction cup may give up!
It is natural the the solder finish will dull or tarnish over time. This is a normal process and can be cleaned or polished with a stained glass polish. Or you can chose to let the natural aging process continue. Either look is natural and stunning in its own right.
Glass Colors
Due to the way that stained glass is made, each individual piece contains variations. I do my very best to portray the true color of the pieces I make, however they may look a tad different in real life. The screen just can't accurately capture the depth and beauty of the glass in real life. I firmly believe that you will like the glass you see on screen even better in real life!
Repurposed/Recycled Glass
The majority of the stained glass I use for my jewelry comes from scraps of glass leftover from larger stained glass projects. My mom was a stained glass artist for my whole life and left behind buckets of glass scraps that weren't useful for large glass projects. I recently discovered that stash and have been slowly sorting through it for beautiful pieces of glass worth turning into jewelry. If you purchase jewelry through my shop, not only will you have a unique accessory, but you can feel great knowing that you have done a small part to cut down on waste!
