Vintage is not perfect. The imperfections are the story of an odject having been loveingly used.
I'm very excited to tell you, a few of my items have made it to the big times. A very old wooden school chair, is in a exhibit at a History Museum in NYC! Another item, a smiley pin was used on a national magazine cover! ALSO, One of my Blue and White Antique Plates is being used in a foreign cookbook!
Growing up I didn't have a lot of things, just the basics.
I see beauty in all creative forms. I like to express myself in many forms, as an illustrator, a painter and a gardener. I was up cycling and trash picking before it was know as being green. I pride myself for being green and have taken a lot things to the next level. That's where my love of vintage comes in to play. Renewing a piece of furtiture or passing a vintage object on for a new life, makes everyone a little more green. My favorite things to shop for is vintage bakeware and kitchen stuff. The quality of old bakeware and kitchen stuff is great! You will get good value for great quality, is what you will find inside my shop!
Now My collector side has now come full circle and I want to open my over stock to you. When I'm out shopping for the store, I try to only buy quality items in perfect or near perfect condition. I will sometimes over look a chip on a piece, if it has a cracked glaze or rusty patina, that element adds to the charm of a vintage piece.
When I stock my shop, I tend to sell by seasons here in the Northeast of USA. When the listing expires, I won't re listed it until it is closer to that selling season. So check back in each season.
