I sculpt the original family figures for the personalized ornaments out of polymer clay.

My little clay "sketches" for larger sculptures turned into personalized family ornaments!

After a few years of only creating very detailed portrait clay wedding sculptures and cake topper, I needed to created something else that expressed my personal style. I started out making small clay "sketches" that I hoped to turn into larger sculptures of families. I was inspired by the amazing mothers and fathers I saw around me as well as my own family.

After posting a few pictures of my "sketches" to an online forum, several friends asked for them to represent their family. As the holiday season approached, one of the moms on the board asked me to turn the mini clay sketch into an ornament. That's when the light bulb came on!! I've been making personalized family ornaments every since!

I strongly feel these family ornaments are not just ornaments - they are little works of art!
